6-Legged Hike: A Loop at the Foot of the Laga Mountains

Join this exciting circular hike at the foot of the picturesque Monti della Laga, a unique route rediscovered thanks to the efforts of the Arquata Potest Association. The route passes through places of great natural and historical charm, such as the "Church of the Madonna della Neve" (878 m), an authentic architectural gem nestled among centuries-old chestnut groves, with the Monti della Laga as a backdrop.

The culminating point of the route is the summit of Mount Civita, which offers a 360° panoramic view: the main mountain ranges in the area stand out in all their magnificence, from Mount Vettore, the giant of the Sibillini, to the Tronto Valley, from Mount Ceresa to the Monti Gemelli, all the way to Gran Sasso. A breathtaking panorama that makes any description seem reductive compared to the reality.

The trail invites you to immerse yourself in authentic nature, enriched by wild aromas that will delight even our dogs' most discerning noses. In case of snow, the route transforms into a magical snowshoe hike, adding a touch of adventure to the experience.

You'll be accompanied by expert professionals: a LAGAP Environmental Hiking Guide, a FICSS Dog Trainer, and a CSEN Trekking Instructor, who will enrich the excursion with insights into the area's history and valuable tips for improving the relationship between man and dog.
